Scholar Athlete awards were presented at the PSUAC Awards luncheon Derek Burdick from PSU DuBois received the male outstanding scholar athlete award and Bobbie Caprice from PSU Brandywine accepted the female award for outstanding scholar athlete.

An odd situation arose with 15.4 seconds remaining in the first half, when a PSU New Ken player accidentially hit the power switch for the gym lights causing the half time break to be taken early in order to regain power to the light.
