PSU DuBois season ends with loss to Central Penn College

Day two of the USCAA basketball championships went similar to day one with PSU DuBois dropping the final game of the season to Central Penn 108-78.   Central Penn entered the tournament as the # 1 seed, but was knocked off by Berkeley College in the quarter finals.  PSU DuBois played well, but Central Penn had too much fire power and speed for the Nittany Lions.

Seniors Jovan Brown and Chris Dickison lead the team in scoring with 21 and 18 points respectively.  Woody Mitchell had a solid game with 17 points on 7 for 12 shooting. 

Central Penn shot 66% from the floor in the first half and sprinted out to a 53-35 half time lead, Central Penn was paced by Devon Dorset and Montez Lacy with 26 and 25 points apiece; all told 13 players for Central Penn had tallies on the score sheet.

DuBois finished the season with a 21-9 record.  Senior Chris Dickison finished his career as the second leading scorer in PSU DuBois history with 1,746 points.  Also, adding his name to the 1,000 point career scoring list this season was Jovan Brown with 1,051 pts.

Hi-lighting the season was claming their second PSUAC Championship with a 7 point win over Wilkes Barre on February 25th, earning the automatic bid to the USCAA Championship.
