Penn State DuBois tames the Wildcats

Saturday afternoon Penn State DuBois was hitting on all cylinders as they went up against the Wildcats from Penn College. PSUD controlled the game from start to finish. There was no doubt about who would come out on top this afternoon. Their intense man to man defense was too much to handle forcing the Wildcats to turn the ball over 24 times and holding them to shoot 34 percent from the field. DuBois offense was just as good as the defense. They shared the ball extremely well finishing the game with 17 total team assists (a season high) and shooting 56 percent from the field. The defensive pressure led to many easy layups, and the quick, efficient movement of the ball led to open shots. Chris Dickison finished the day with 24 points while Jovan Brown chipped in 16 of his own. This game was a well-rounded effort by everyone on the PSUD team. When the final buzzer sounded Penn State DuBois won 78-49.

This impressive victory brings the DuBois record to 15-6 overall and 10-3 in the PSUAC. We would like to thank everyone who came to support your Penn State DuBois Lions at our Breast Cancer Awareness game.  DuBois will now be on the road Monday February 6th to take on the team from New Kensington.
