Penn State DuBois jumps out to big lead over Greater Allegheny in 65-46 win

McKeesport, Pa- Penn State DuBois played aggressive ball the first 20 minutes to take the spirit from Greater Allegheny in PSUAC action.  A combination of pressure defense and hot shooting provide a 20 point margin at half time 45-25.  Leading scores for DuBois were Jovan Brown (13), Chris Dickison (12), Woody Mitchell (11).  Solid rebounding efforts were made by Will Welles (11), and Dickison (9) as DuBois limited second chance opportunities for GA.

Second half performance by both teams was a bit lacking as neither team played particularly well, DuBois registered 20 second half points to 21 for Greater Allegheny.  DuBois continues to struggle from the foul line shooting 35.7% while hitting 55% from 3 point land.  The win puts DuBois at 5-3 on the season; up next is a road game at PS Scranton on Dec. 9th.
