PSUD Women Lose to Greater Allegany
On Saturday, the Lady Lions dropped a close game against Penn State Greater Allegany. PSGA went on a 13-0 run just before halftime that made the score 32-19 and later proved to be the difference in the game. Despite playing inspired basketball during the second half, the DuBois Lady Lions were unable to over come the thirteen point half-time deficit falling by the final score of 67-53.
Leading the team in scoring was Kristy Hanes (Elk County Catholic) with 15 points. Ashley Brown (Otto Eldred HS) recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds in the contest. Grace Earle (Cowaneque Valley) had 9 points and 6 rebounds.
The PSUD Lady Lions return to action on Monday, December 1, 2014 as they travel to Butler County Community College for a 5:00 p.m. tip-off.
