Ceprish Hits Milestone With DuBois Wins

DuBois volleyball travelled to New Kensington today to play their final regular season matches.  They would take on both New Kensington, and then Kent St Tuscarawas to cap off the season with a tri-match.  DuBois came ready to play, and made quick work of both opponents. 

New Kensington fell in 3: 25-9, 25-14, 25-15.  DuBois' setter Catherine Gregory had 32 assists in the win, while Kyara Girvan put up double digits in kills with 10.  Sydney Kaschalk had 9 kills, and teammate Kierra Keck came away with 11 digs.  Senior, Skylar Ceprish hit a milestone of 500 kills in her career as she had 3 kills in the match as well.  Ceprish is the 3rd member on this short list at Penn State DuBois to reach this milestone behing Ally Easton (689) and Keara Schrefler (578).

DuBois went on to beat Kent St Tuscarawas later in the day: 25-7, 25-7, 25-9.  Gregory put up another 30 assists, while Kaschalk would put down 11 kills on a .588 hitting percentage.  Ceprish would add another 9 kills to her record, and Girvan would put down 7 kills with a hitting percentage of .667.

DuBois will be back in action on Thursday when they host the first round of the PSUAC playoffs.
