The DuBois Lady Lions had their first home match of the season this evening against the visiting Wolfpack of Westmoreland Community College.

A strong showing in front of the home crowd, the Lady Lions pulled out to an early lead in the first set, and kept the accelerator down the entire way.  With this week's PSUAC Player of the Week, Catherine Gregory having another stellar day with 35 sets, DuBois would go 25-13. 25-9, and 25-9 to sweep the Wolfpack in 3.

Sydney Kaschalk, Skylar Ceprish, and Kyara Girvan would spread the kills among one another with 8, 7, and 5 respectively.  Girvan would also add in 5 service aces for the Lady Lions.

Coach Alberts was happy with his teams play after the first few minutes of play.  "We got off to a slow start, but being our first home game in 2 years we played well, got it going, and eventually started playing hard.  A good win for us to start the home season, and now we just need to improve every day."

The Lady Lions are now 3-0 on the season as they had defeated Penn State Beaver and Bay Path University last weekend on the road. 

The Lady Lions will host Butler Community College tonight at 7:00 pm at the DuBois Middle School.
