The Penn State Dubois Volleyball team is excited to announce the addition of Montana Hetrick to this year's recruiting class. Montana is a 5' 6" senior Outside Hitter from Redbank Valley School District in New Bethlehem, PA. She was a starting Outside Hitter for the Lady Bulldogs and as the captain of her team she led them to a D-9 AA championship in 2020. Besides winning the championship in 2020 she was named PVCA All District MVP and D-9 AA Player of The Year. Additionally, she played club volleyball for R2R.
Coach Alberts said "I have had the pleasure of watching Montana play several times. I was immediately impressed with how hard she can hit a ball and the mechanics of her approach and swing. I have no doubt that she will make an immediate difference on the court offensively for us. Additionally, she will be an asset on defensive as she led her team in digs her junior and senior season. I look forward to seeing her in action on the court next season." Montana is daughter to Chad and Marcy Hetrick.
The Penn State Dubois Athletic Department is pleased to make this announcement and is looking forward to Montana being part of the team next season.
