Women's Basketball and Softball Adds Natalie Bowser

Penn State DuBois Women's Basketball and Softball are proud to announce that Natalie Bowser from Keystone High School will continue her basketball and softball careers at the DuBois Campus of Penn State.

On the court, the 6'1" team captain averaged 14.5 points and 15.6 rebounds per game as a senior.   Natalie also reached an unbelievable career accomplishment, reaching 1000 points and 1000 rebounds with a final total of 1,046 points as well as 1,042 rebounds.  "Natalie will be a perfect fit at Penn State DuBois.  She is a great athlete, hard worker, and a strong student.  She is an aggressive scorer and rebounder and has a strong desire to succeed.  I'm excited that she will be joining our program at PSUD," stated PSUD Basketball Head Coach Pat Lewis.

On the softball diamond last year, Natalie was named 1st team PIAA All-State, PIAA Class 2A Position Player of the Year, MaxPreps 2nd team All-American, and D9 and 10 Sports Softball Player of the Year just to name a few of many awards.  She batted .766 with 14 home runs and 48 RBIs as a sophomore and batted .629 with 11 homers and 30 RBIs as a junior.  "Natalie is going to garner a lot of respect from other teams in the conference, with her ability to hit for average and power, teams will have to game plan for her. We are very excited that Natalie chose PSUD to continue her education and be part of our athletic programs!", stated PSUD Softball Head Coach Jeff Tomb.
