The softball team travelled to St Vincent college today for their first double header action of the season. A tight game 1 saw DuBois tie the game, 1-1 in the top of the 5th inning thanks to an RBI by Larissa James-LaBranche. The lead wouldn't last long as St Vincent would take the lead back for the remainder of the game in the bottom of the 5th. St Vincent would win the game, 4-1.
Game 2 saw DuBois score in the opening inning, and another 2 runs in the 2nd. St Vincent would add a few runs to their total in the 3rd and 4th to take the lead. DuBois would start a rally in the 5th with a 2 run home run from Caitlyn Watson, but it wouldn't be enough. DuBois would lose game 2, 11-5. Watson and Madison Sitarek would end the game each with 2 RBI's.
