Softball Takes 2 From Scranton

The Penn State DuBois softball took to the road this weekend for a pair of doubleheaders.  Stop two was against PSUAC opponent PSU Scranton.  Both games DuBois put up big numbers, and would win both games without allowing Scranton to score a single run.

In game 1 Lizzy Scott would throw for a complete game shutout with 9 strikeouts.  Shyanne Lundy would hit her 2nd home run of the year that was also a grand slam.  Lundy would finish the game with 5 RBI's.  Abby Pentz would go 5 for 6 from the plate with 4 RBI's, and that would include 2 doubles.

Game 2 saw much of the same for DuBois as they would score 13 runs in the 1st inning and never look back.  Skylar Ceprish would go 4 for 5 from the dish with 3 RBI's, and fellow senior Cayleigh Huffman would go 4 for 5 with 4 RBI's.  Pentz would hit for a triple, and Kelsey Stuart would add 2 doubles.
