Softball Signs Geer
Penn State DuBois is proud to announce the signing of DuBois High School Senior softball player, Aleigha Geer. Aleigha will add to a young pitching staff that Head Coach Jason Kern is looking forward to this season.

"We lost 2 pitchers to graduation this past year and one pitcher that missed the majority of her freshman season this year with an injury. So realistically, we only have one pitcher returning that has college game experience in Lizzy Scott. Aleigha has experience pitching at Heindl Field and she has been involved with some big games during her high school career. She also has the ability to help us offensively as she has had some key hits in pressure situations in high school, such as her last inning hit against DuBois Central Catholic to help her team win the City Game this past year", Kern Said.

Aleigha becomes the third DuBois High School softball player to continue their academic and athletic careers at Penn State DuBois, following former softball players, Autumn Shaffer and Laura Fatula.
