DuBois Splits With Schuylkill

In a double header this afternoon against Schuylkill, DuBois started game one off hot both offensively, and defensively.  Lizzy Scott put on one of her exciting (and what has now become normal to DuBois fans) performances from the circle.  From the plate the DuBois bats started early and scored quickly.

3 runs came in the bottom of the 1st for DuBois.  Aspen Bishop crushed a line drive to the wall that scored 2 of those runs.  DuBois would score another 3 for insurance in the bottom of the 6th inning, and Scott would keep the opposition scoreless as DuBois would take game one, 6-0.

Bishop would end with 2 doubles, and 2 RBI's on the game.  Shortstop, Malliah Schreck would smash a triple, and a single from Skylar Ceprish would quickly turn into a run as she found her way back to home after a few errors from the visiting Schuylkill.

Scott pitched the complete game shut out with allowing only 1 hit, and striking out 9 batters.

Game two saw quite the opposite from DuBois as the bats fell silent, and the pitching gave up a few too many runs.  Brittney Williams would start for DuBois, going 3 innings before Brooke Harvey would come in relief to finish the game.  DuBois scored their lone run in the 1st inning, but only have 4 hits for the game.

DuBois would drop game two for the split series, 8-1.
