DuBois Wins First Round World Series Game

The DuBois baseball team faced D'Youville University in the first round of the 2023 USCAA World Series.  Connor Cherry got the start for DuBois and would give up 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning before the bats came alive for DuBois in the 2nd inning.  DuBois would continue their offensive attack as they would score in every inning for the rest of the game. 

Cherry would throw a complete game allowing only 5 hits and throwing 119 pitches.  Brett Beith would go 2 for 3 with 4 RBI's, while Kyle Elensky and Colby Bodtorf would each have 3 hits and score 2 runs each.  Beith would also add 2 stolen bases in the 1st round victory.

DuBois will play Miami-Hamilton University Tuesday morning at 8:30am at Shower's Field.
