The baseball team hosted a double header at Showers Field today against visiting PSU Beaver. Ezeck Olinger got the start from the mound as the DuBois offense gave him some big insurance runs with 10 runs in the 2nd inning and another 9 in the 4th inning. Tylor Herzing hit for 4 RBI's, Colby Bodtorf went 3 for 5 with 3 hits and a home run, and Dylan Treaster hit for 3 RBI's in the game. Cory Lehman and Jorge Rodriguez also each hit a triple for the 22-2 win.
Game 2 had Christian Hopp take the mound for DuBois and had the same result with help from the DuBois bats again. Through 4 innings Hopp gave up only 1 hit and struck out 4 batters. Tanner LaBenne hit for 3 RBI's with a stand up triple, and Brandon Sicheri hit a huge home run. DuBois would win the game, 11-1.
