The Penn State baseball team played their first game of the 2022 USCAA World Series against Southern Maine Community College. Taylor Boland started out for the Nittany Lions from the mound, allowing only 4 hits through 3 innings.
Trevor Hanna, Brandon Sicheri, and Colby Bodtorf all hit for doubles. Bodtorf also hit for 4 RBI's, while Daniel Stauffer and Sicheri each had 2 RBI's for the game.
DuBois would score 5 runs in the 2nd inning and another 5 runs in the 3rd inning. That would be all they needed as they Lions would defeat the Sea Wolves, 10-3.
