Baseball Takes 2 Big Ones From GA

The Penn State DuBois baseball team hosted PSU Greater Allegheny this weekend in a conference double header.  Taylor Boland would take to the mound with the start for DuBois in game 1.  Boland would keep GA scoreless in the first 2 innings, and his offense would make sure he had plenty of breathing room with some quick runs early.  Lead off hitter Daniel Stauffer would get his 8th home run of the year with the first at bat of the day for DuBois.  DuBois would then score 3 more runs in the inning to take a lead that would last the game.

Stauffer would go 3 for 4 on the game while teammates Trevor Hanna and Brett Beith would each go 2 for 2 with 2 RBI's each.  Tyler Yough would hit for a triple and a double to contribute to DuBois offense.

Boland would get his 5th win of the year.

Game 2 would give Hanna the strt from the mound, and although Greater Allegheny would score early, DuBois would match it, and then some.  Beith and Colby Bodtorf would both hit home runs in the game, and each have 3 RBI's.  Brandon Sicheri would go 1 for 1 from the plate, walk twice, and drive in 2 RBI's.

Hanna would get his 3rd win of the year.
