PSU DuBois wrestlers place 3rd at Univ. of Scranton – Electric City Duals.

The Penn State DuBois wrestling team recorded a 3-2 record at the Electric City Duals at University of Scranton on Saturday. Claiming the team championship was the Apprentice School of Norfolk, VA; followed by team runner-up Wilkes College.
Penn State Dubois defeated University of Scranton for third place with a 25-22 victory. PSU DuBois raced out to a 22-0 lead only to see Scranton close the gap to 25-22. Key victories in the match were registered by Paul Hetrick and Michael Bonner winning by Fall, decisions were recorded by Ben Fordoski, Ty Haines, Jake Himes, and Matthew Rivera.

Wilkes College 32 - PSU DuBois 12
PSU DuBois 63 - PSU Beaver 0
Apprentice School 27 - PSU DuBois 13
PSU DuBois 31 - UMBC (Univ. Maryland Baltimore County)
PSU DuBois 25 - Scranton 22
Leading Coach Matt Park's team for the day were Freshman 125lbs Paul Hetrick (4-0), 141lbs Michael Bonner (3-0), and 149lbs Ty Haines (4-1).
PSU DuBois wrestlers will host PSUAC rival Penn Tech College on Tuesday, Nov. 12th at 7pm in the Multipurpose Building Gymnasium.
