Another big win for the Penn State DuBois women's basketball team as they defeated visiting Villa Maria last night in front of the home crowd of DuBois. 

A close race as the end of the first quarter expired as the Lady Lions held the small lead, 17-14.  However, it didn't take long for them to put on the show for the home crowd as they opened up the throttle in the second quarter to take the 35-20 lead going into the locker room.  DuBois remained in control for the remaining second half of play, taking advantage of the rebounding game with Natalie Bowser (Knox, PA) and Elizabeth Hungiville (Smethport, PA) dominating the glass for a combined 33 rebounds.

Hungiville would also add in 12 points to go with her 22 rebounds, while Bowser would put up an additional 18 points to go along with her 11 rebounds.

The Lady Lions improve their record to 2-0 and look to keep the streak going as they travel to Clarion University on Saturday for a 5:30 pm tip off.
