The men's basketball team hosted PSUAC opponent PSU Beaver tonight at the PAW Center in DuBois. Beaver jumped out to a quick lead, but a great defensive effort brought DuBois right back into the game. Grant Grimaldi would take DuBois into the locker room down only 1 point with his 8 point, 4 rebound, and 2 assist 1st half of play.
DuBois came out in the 2nd half to a Grimaldi layup right away to put DuBois up by 1 point. A few possessions of back and forth scoring and DuBois would eventually stay on top. With an efficient night from the field DuBois shot 39% from the 3-point line and 45% from the field as they would go on to win their final game of the season, 76-70.
Grimaldi would finish with 14 points and 8 rebounds, Ashton Fortson would have a huge 2nd half dropping in 17 points. Cristopher Frontera would go 4 for 8 from the 3-point line and finish with 14 points, and Jaiquil Johnson would put up 14 points and add 4 assists.
