The women's basketball team hosted PSUAC opponent, PSU New Kensington today at the PAW Center in DuBois. A huge showing for the ladies on both ends of the floor had them leading the game from start to finish.
The first half offensively for DuBois controlled the game as they would go into the locker room with a 41-24 lead thanks to 7 three pointers from Shannon Shaw. In the 2nd half DuBois picked right back up from where they left off in the first half. Holding New Kensington to just 33% from the field, DuBois took over on the defensive end too.
Tara Leamer had 5 steals and Frances Milliron dished out 8 assists to help DuBois get the win, 66-56. Shaw ended the game with 30 points off 9 for 17 from beyond the arc.
DuBois will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to PSU Shenango.
