The women's basketball team hosted Butler County Community College for the first official basketball game in the new PAW Center on campus. An exciting day for the campus and the team, and the Lady Lions gave the crowd an exciting show. Although DuBois was down going into the half they would come out swinging in the 3rd quarter to cut the lead.
Frances Milliron would help keep the Lady Lions close with a couple of steals that led to quick buckets. Kelsey Stuart would add 13 points while Sarah Huston would pull down 13 rebounds. Tenacious defense would be the look for DuBois, but a struggle from the field would allow Butler County to maintain the lead at the end of the game as they would defeat DuBois, 54-45.
DuBois will be back in action on Tuesday the 15th when they host Penn State Shenango.
