The Penn State DuBois women's basketball team travelled to PSU Fayette this weekend for a PSUAC matchup. An almost even 1st quarter saw DuBois and Fayette with only a 2-point difference to start the 2nd quarter. DuBois then really turned it up for those next 10 minutes as they would outscore Fayette by 11 in the quarter to take a 38-29 lead going into the half.
Fayette would make their own run in the 3rd quarter to make it a tie game to start the 4th quarter. DuBois own Tara Hinderliter would score 13 points in the 4th to give her team a boost, but in the end Fayette would take the game, 79-78.
Hinderliter would end with 21 points and 15 rebounds. Lexey Shick would put up 16 points and have 3 steals for her team, and Shannon Shaw would add 12 points.
DuBois will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to PSU Mont Alto.
