PSUD Women Win Again at Home
The Penn State Dubois Lady Lions picked up their 9th win of the season by dropping the University of Pitt-Titusville by the score of 73-55 Saturday afternoon. With the win, PSUD women improve to (9-3) on the season.
Dubois had two players with double-doubles in the game as Morgan Silvis (Forest Area) had 10 points and 11 rebounds and Lauren Young (Bellefonte) collected 12 points and 10 rebounds. Two other players reached double figures with Melody Young (Otto Eldred) 13 points and Hope Bridge (Punxsutawney) had 12 points on the afternoon.
"We played well and took good care of the ball in the game today. I was happy with our rebounding also because that allowed us to get a lot of second chance points" state PSUD Coach Pat Lewis. He added, "Every one of the players on this team is playing a crucial role in our success and I'm proud of the effort that everyone is displaying on the court."
The PSUD squad returns to action at home on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 6:00 against Central Penn College.
