PSUD Lady Lion Alumni Game

Seventeen former Penn State DuBois Lady Lion basketball players have committed to return to participate in the 1st Annual PSUD Lady Lion Alumni Game.  The PSUD women's basketball program, started just seven years ago, has produced many talented players and many of those players look forward to their return to the Penn State DuBois campus to prove that they have "still got it".

Seven of the top ten all-time leading scorers will be lacing up their sneakers to show how they climbed to the top of the scoring list.  Headlining this group are two nine hundred-point scorers, Tessa Vargas (979) and Missy Aul (932).  All-time assists leader, Karlee Cyphert (315) will be on hand to hit the open man, while Karly Carnovale will demonstrate how she nailed fifty-four (54) three pointers just last season.

Five of the eight members of the first PSUD team (2007-08) will be taking the court for the 1:00 tip-off.  Attending from the first team will be Nichele Hoover, Brittany Barrett, Missy Aul, Kara Carnovale, and Courtney Yenzi.

"What I'm looking forward to most about this game is reconnecting with all of the former players.  It will be great to see them again and more so for them to see each other", stated PSUD Head Coach Pat Lewis.  "Being a member of an athletic team at PSUD creates lifelong friendships and even though these young ladies may not see each other very often, they all share a common bond as a member of the PSUD Women's Basketball Program.  We are all excited to see them come home to Penn State DuBois."

Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2013.  The PSUD Men's Alumni game will follow at 3:00 p.m..
