PSU DuBois women fall to Greater Allegheny

Home playoff loss puts end to promising season

Penn State DuBois women had defeated PSU Greater Allegheny twice earlier this season by the scores of 87-73 and 70-59, but Monday night they couldn't find the mark and lost the 1st round PSUAC playoff game 77-66.

DuBois was lead by Karley Carnovale with 15 points while Kelsey Rini had 14, and Karlee Cyphert had 10 points.  It was a tough night shooting for Tessa Vargas who recorded 7 points with one field goal on the night.  Tessa entered the game 28 points shy of the career 1,000 point milestone.  Tessa finished her outstanding career as the programs lead scorer at PSU DuBois with 979 points.

DuBois finished their best season in the teams history at 16-7 and were ranked # 15 in the most recent USCAA Coaches Poll.
