
The softball team took 2 games over the host team of PSU Beaver yesterday in the final regular season double header. The first game saw DuBois with 2 big innings in the 3rd and 6th as they would pull away from Beaver for the 9-5, game 1 win. Larissa James-LaBranche would hit a 3-run homerun to help the cause. Makena Baney would also have 2 RBI's for the game including a double, and Megan Hyde would pitch through 6 innings for the win.
Game 2 saw the same amount of runs for DuBois, but even less for Beaver as the DuBois defense would hold the opponent to only 1 run on the game. Caitlyn Watson would go 2 for 4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI's, while Kelsey Stuart would have the exact same line for the DuBois win. Stuart would also earn the win from the circle with complete game, 4 strikeout outing.
