The Penn State DuBois softball team split a double header yesterday against host PSU Fayette. DuBois struggled to score in the first game even though their bats were going strong with 7 total hits. Paige Pleta would go 2 for 3 from the plate and would dscore the teams only run off of a single from Kelsey Stuart.
Lizzy Scott would pitch the complete game with 7 strikeouts, but in the end Fayette would take game 1, 4-1.
Game 2 saw DuBois with a good 4 run 2nd inning to help ease the mind of Stuart, who was the starting pitcher. Pleta had another solid performance from the plate, going 2 for 4 with 2RBI's, and 2 doubles.
DuBois would take the 2nd game victory, 6-2.
