It was an impressive start to the Penn State DuBois Cross Country season on Saturday, 9/8.  The team competed at the Westmoreland County Community College Wolfpack Invitational for their first event this fall, matching up with nine other college and university teams. Rebecca Maine took fourth place overall in the women's race, coming in with a time of 23:06 for her 5K race. In the men's 5K, sophomore Jeremy Fischer finished with a time of 19:13. Freshman Bailey Thrush ran the 5K in 20:46, and senior Jordan Rummel finished with a time of 25:35.  Our PSU DuBois runners performed well in spite of the rain and chilly conditions, and they're ready to take on the competition at their next invitational, traveling to Allegheny College in Meadville on Saturday, 9/15.
