Penn State DuBois Cross Country runner, Garrett Pensak, took first overall in the 29th Annual 5 Mile Lee Foster Memorial Run with a time of 32:21. Garrett is a freshmen at Penn State DuBois and is majoring in Wildlife Technology. He is a native of Bellefonte, PA where he proved to have a successful career as a runner in high school.
"It was a great way to informally start the Penn State DuBois Cross Country season and it gives a great preview on what kind of performances to expect in the future meets. Garrett is one of the hardest working and most disciplined athletes I have ever met. I couldn't ask for a better runner as we work to rebuild the running program at Penn State DuBois." -Head Coach, Kyle Gordon.
Penn State DuBois travels to Penn State Greater Alleghany for their first official meet on Saturday September 14th.
