DuBois Splits Road Games

DuBois Splits Road Games

The Penn State DuBois men's basketball team went on the road this weekend for a pair of PSUAC games against PSU Brandywine and PSU Lehigh Valley.

Brandywine was first up on Friday night.  Down 2 at the half, DuBois tried hard to regain control of the game, and the lead, but the home town team wasn't letting go of their halftime lead momentum.  Brandywine went on to win the game, 93-83.

DuBois had a huge night from Russell Gariepy (Albion, PA) as he went for 24 points and 8 rebounds. Tre'von Williams had another double-digit night for DUBois as he dropped in 14 points for his team.

Saturday had DuBois travelling to PSU Lehigh Valley for a short turnaround, afternoon game.  DuBois wasn't about to let another conference game slip through their fingers however, and took a commanding 39-27 lead headed into half time.

Gariepy put up 19 points for another big night, while Malik Gordon (Allentown, PA), and Cole Morris (Rimersburg, PA) put up 16 and 15 points, respectively.

DuBois would go on to win, 80-62 to split the conference weekend, and move to 2-3 in the PSUAC.  The men will host PSU Beaver on Tuesday, December 10th at 8:00 pm.
