Huey Posts Double-Double

Game 2 on the conference road trip for Penn State DuBois was a matchup against Penn State Hazleton.  DuBois, trying to put the previous day's loss to rest was ready to come out with a fresh start.  However, Hazleton started things off the same way that Schuylkill had started things off the night before.  Hazleton took any early 6-0 lead after knocking down 2 straight 3-pointers.

A Dylan Huey (Punxsutawney, PA) lay-up off of a Zack Dahlstrand (Erie, PA) rebound got DuBois on the board.  The defensive end came to life with a block from Osagie Evbuomwan (Severn, MD), and a couple quick rebounds for the big man.  Two early fouls would see Evbuoman on the bench however, and Hazleton would take the lead 11-4.

The scoring would be slow moving for DuBois in the first half as they would end with only 15 points.  They were able to keep Hazleton low on the points total as well though, allowing only 27 points against them.

The second half saw DuBois struggle again from the field, as Hazleton would go on another run.  Mekhi Willis (Landstuhl, Germany) would bring some life to the DuBois team, as he was able to get on the board, scoring all 11 of his points in the second half.  Huey would continue to fight on the glass as he has done all year, but Hazleton was going to get the best of this game as they would go on to win 63-42.

Huey ended the day with a team high 14 points and 13 rebounds.  The turnover game was again the struggle as Hazleton would score 25 of their points off of DuBois turnovers.

DuBois will be back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Penn State Fayette.
