Dubois found themselves down 8 within 3 minutes as Greater Allegheny jumped out to a quick 10-2 lead after shooting 3-5 to start the game.  In just over a minute, DuBois found themselves staring at a tie ball game following an 8-0 run of their own. Things seemed to go cold for the Dubois team as Greater Allegheny stretched the lead to 13 at the 9:48 mark in the first half. Defensive intensity picked up as Dubois fought to cut into the lead. With 5:00 minutes remaining in the first half, PSUD had cut the lead to 5. Jordan Knappenberger entered the game providing a spark off the bench. The game was tied at 40 all with 2:00 minutes remaining. After the continuous effort from Dubois, they found themselves with a 1-point lead going into halftime.

Dubois came out in the second half and stretched their lead to 7 with shots from Roselli, Conde, and Pierce. PSUD continued their pursuit of intensity while applying defensive pressure. For much of the second half both teams traded baskets as DuBois held on to the lead. With 9:00 minutes remaining Dubois was sitting comfortably with a 12-point lead. This only sparked the home team as they cut into the lead within a minute's span by 6. The next 5 minutes of play seemed like an eternity as Dubois went cold again and GA had found a way to get back into it. With 5 minutes remaining, the game had been tied up at 80 a piece. After each team took the lead throughout this span, Dubois found themselves up 6 with 1:30 to go in regulation. With less than a minute to play, the score was 96-94 in favor of PSUD. GA managed to get a rebound off their missed shot and put it in to tie the game. With a failed effort from Dubois, both teams found themselves entering overtime.

Overtime was basically the same pace of regulation. There were 7 different lead changes within the 5 minute overtime period. Dubois again found themselves down 1 with less than 20 seconds on the clock. PSUD was able to inbound the ball to Kyle Mills who put up a half-court shot almost banking it in at the buzzer. Notable players for Dubois were Pierce with 39, Conde with 26-11-10-10, Roselli with 16-13, and Mills with 12. Dubois returns to action on Friday as they travel to Fayette. Tip-off is at 8:00 PM.
