The Penn State DuBois men's basketball team traveled to Edinboro University Tuesday night to take on a tough Division II opponent. The Lions were slow out of the gate as the Fighting Scots got out to an early lead. From that point on Edinboro didn't look back as they built on that lead throughout the game. Dubois struggled to adjust to the athleticism and the length of the fighting Scots defense. The Lions ended the game with 24 turnovers to only 13 assist. Edinboro also out rebounded the Lions 50 to 17. When the final horn sounded the score board read 144-61 in favor of Edinboro. Penn State DuBois was led by Sam Roselli's (Ridgway) 17 points. Sam shot the ball very well against a more athletic, bigger defense. He was 8-14 from the field. Also contributing was Derrick Williams (Philadelphia) 11 points, Kyle Mills (bushkill) 10, Savon Jones (Salisbury, MD) 11 points, and Shaimell Byrd (bushkill) 10 points. DuBois returns to action Saturday December 6th at home against defending PSUAC champion Penn State York. The tip is set for 3pm following the women's game.
