Thursday was the first tournament back for the defending conference champions of Penn State DuBois. Playing on the ever challenging White Course in State College, PA the team didn't miss a beat from last year. With newly appointed Head Coach Mark Powell, the golfers stayed consistent enough to bring home 2nd place for the day, trailing only 3 strokes to Penn State Wilkes Barre.
Brandon Orsich (Clearfield, PA) led the way for DuBois finishing the day with a 77, with Ian Hensel (Indiana, PA) helped the team out with a good 80. Colin Moore (Homer City, PA) and Alec Graham (Clearfield, PA) also helped the team score with an 81 and 82, respectively.
Penn State DuBois will be back in action on Wednesday, September 12th when they host an invitational at the DuBois Country Club.
