The baseball team hosted PSU Greater Allegheny in a double header match up at Showers Field tonight. Taylor Boland had the ball to start game 1 and DuBois got a quick run in the bottom of the 1st inning. Greater Allegheny would take the lead in the 3rd inning, but a big 4 run inning in the 4th gave DuBois the lead for the rest of game 1. There were 7 different DuBois hitters to hit for an RBI, and Colby Bodtorf, Grant Lillard, and Cory Lehman each had 2 hits for the game. Boland would get the complete game win with 6 strikeouts for the 7-4 win.
Game 2 started off hot for DuBois with Zach Tiracorda on the mound. Lillard had another 3 hits, and DuBois blew the lead open with a Brett Beith home run. Tiracorda would pitch a complete game for his first collegiate win, while Beith and Lehman would both help out with 2 RBI's each.
DuBois will be back in action tomorrow when they travel to Greater Allegheny for another double header before returning home on Monday to face Houghton College at Stern Field.
