Penn State DuBois baseball played their semi final game in the PSUAC Championship tournament this afternoon as they faced the #3 seed from the East Division in PSU Brandywine.
Taylor Boland took to the hill for DuBois, and would have a no-hitter going through 5 and 1/3rd innings. The no hitter would get broken up, but Boland would still allow only a hit shut-out. Daniel Stauffer would come in the final inning to finish off the shut-out, and to get the save for DuBois.
Designated hitter, Tanner LaBenne would go 2 for 2 on the day in some big spots. Trevor Hanna would be responsible for both runs for DuBois, and both LaBenne and Cory Lehman would hit for a double each.
DuBois would win the game, 2-0 to advance to the championship game to be played on Monday at 3:30pm at Medlar Field in State College. They will face a familiar foe in PSU Mont Alto whom they defeated in last years PSUAC Championship Game.
