The Penn State DuBois baseball team had a few cancellations this weekend due to the weather, but still were able to get 1 game in against visiting PSU Beaver. Taylor Boland came in to the game with a 3-0 record on the season, and would get the start from the mound.
DuBois would not take long to get going offensively as they would score 7 runs on the bottom of the 1st inning. It didn't stop there either as DuBois would score in every inning of the game. Beaver would drop in a run in the 4th inning, and another in the 7th, but DuBois would continue touching home plate and go on to win the game, 15-2.
Boland would get his 4th win of the year as he struck out 5 in 4 innings of work. Mason Lieb would come in relief for Boland for the final 3 innings, striking out 3. Corey Lehman and Dylan Treaster would both hit 2 doubles each for the game, while Thayne Morgan would hit a triple as well to help out his team. Tyler Yough, Cole Breon, and Treaster would all have 2 RBI's on the night as well.
DuBois will be on the road on Wednesday night when they travel to Beaver for a PSUAC double header.
