World Series Championship Ceremony

World Series Championship Ceremony

The 2018 USCAA World Series Champion Penn State DuBois baseball team was recognized Sunday afternoon at Showers Field.  The baseball team was able to unveil their new logo on the right-center outfield wall with the USCAA World Series Champions logo on it, and were given their World Series rings during a ceremony that featured Penn State DuBois Chancellor Dr. Scott McBride, and State Representative Tom Sankey.

The day was full of events as the fans were able to enjoy a wonderful tailgate, followed by the reading and presentation of the Formal State Citation recognizing Penn State DuBois on their Championship, given by Representative Sankey.

Chancellor Dr. Scott McBride and Athletic Director Ken Nellis were able to present each member with a World Series ring for their accomplishments last season.  Finally, Dr. McBride and Representative Sankey were able to throw out the first pitch to start off the 2018 Alumni Game.

It was a great day for not only Penn State DuBois Baseball, but also a very proud occasion for the Penn State DuBois campus and Athletic Department.  Coach Calliari payed homage to those players who came before, stating that they are 'the foundation' for this program, and the success that it has achieved.
