Another Dual Commit for PSUD

Penn State DuBois got a huge basketball commitment back in April when Cranberry's Malliah Schreck signed to join the women's program. That turned out to be good news for PSUD Head Softball Coach, Jason Kern as well. Schreck will also join the softball program at PSUD.

"The first time that I saw Cranberry play, I noticed one player that seemed to be playing at a different level. That player was Malliah. By the time her final softball game was played in the PIAA State Playoffs, I noticed her teammates were playing at that level as well. Great athletes, like Malliah, have a knack for making everyone else around them better. Everyone I spoke to about Malliah, had nothing but great things to say about her on and off the field", Kern said.

Schreck had a career batting average in high school of .434 with 36 extra base hits, 7 of which were home runs.

In the classroom, Schreck is a member of the National Honor Society (Vice President), Senior Class Officer (Secretary), Conservation Club (Vice President), Seneca Indians 4-H Club (President), as well as the Varsity Club.
