Bishop Transfers to Play for DuBois

The Penn State DuBois Athletic Department is happy to announce that Aspen Bishop has decided to continue her academic and softball careers at PSUD. Aspen is a Clearfield High School graduate and a player that PSUD Head Softball Coach Jason Kern recruited when he was first hired in October of 2017.

"Aspen was a part of that targeted group of girls we tried to recruit when I was first hired. Unfortunately, Aspen declared to another college but we are thrilled that she has decided to transfer to PSUD. We were hoping to add some more power to the line-up and we feel Aspen can deliver that need. She had 8 HR's in high school and drove in 64 runs. She has the ability to change a game with one swing of the bat", Kern said.

Aspen had a successful career at Clearfield where she was named First Team Pennsylvania High School Coaches Association, First Team Mountain League All-Star and First Team Progress Land All-Star.
