PSUAC announces Women's Cross Country post-season awards
The Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) has announced first and second team All Conference honors. Claiming 4 spots on the top 14 list were runners from the PSU DuBois team; 1st team honors went to Juliann Boddorf and Stephanie Graham. 2nd team All Conference recognition was awarded to Tamara Anthony and Carley Boice.
In the PSUAC Championship race the individual title was claimed by PSU DuBois' Juliann Boddorf, placing 4th was Stephanie Graham followed by Tamara Anthony 10th and Carley Boice in 12th place.
Also, receiving end of year recognition was Coach Kyle Gordon. Coach Gordon was selected women's cross country coach of the year by his peers in the conference. PSU DuBois AD Ken Nellis commented "I could not be more pleased to have all four of our female runners earn All Conference honors. Plus to have Coach Gordon recognized as Coach of the Year is very deserving, he has worked very hard the past two years recruiting and training his athletes".
We have an opportunity to put some icing on the cake with another great race at the USCAA National Championships next Friday Nov. 6th in Lakeland, FL.
