Women's Volleyball

Coach Zitzelberger returns for her 3rd season as the Assistant Coach with Penn State DuBois.  She began playing volleyball in the 6th grade with Altoona Jrs Volleyball Club, and continued throughout high school.  At Chestnut Ridge (Fishertown, PA) Coach Zitzelberger was a 4-year starter in the middle/outside hitter position, and her team won the Sideling Hill Championship each season she played.  She continued her playing career with Seton Hill University where she played from 2008-2010 as a middle blocker/hitter.  She was recognized on the WVIAC honor roll, and was a 2-time Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award winner.  She went on to coach one season at her alma mater with the junior high team.

Coach Zitzelberger's goal as a coach is to positively impact players both on and off of the court by helping them to foster qualities of dedication, teamwork, and discipline in order to achieve success.  

Coach Zitzelberger is employed at Penn Highlands Healthcare as a Registered Clinical Dietitian.  Coach Zitzelberger and her husband, Christopher have one son, Atlas.
