DuBois Falls In the Tri-Match

The Penn State DuBois volleyball team hosted a tri-match today with Penn State Fayette and Carlow University.  In the first of 3 games, DuBois took on Fayette.  A well fought match on both sides that gave all of the fans something to cheer about. 

Despite a strong defensive effort, DuBois struggled to find their groove.  Despite 33 digs on the defensive end, DuBois would lose in 3 sets 25-20, 25-19, 25-16.  Skylar Ceprish and Ally Easton would lead the way in the kill column with 7 and 5 respectively.  Jenna Hyde added 15 assists and 7 digs to the DuBois totals.

The second game DuBois faced Carlow University.  Another strong showing, but found DuBois unable to get their way into the winning column as Carlow took the match 3-0.

Ceprish and Easton led the way for their team again with 12 and 10 kills respectively.  Kaylie Petrusky helped out with 16 digs in the game.
