National Tournament Pool B...

The USCAA National Volleyball Tournament has released the brackets for the 2018 tournament.  Penn State DuBois comes in as the 6th seed, and will play in Pool B to start off.  This will consist of playing 2 games that are best of 3 sets to see how the tournament bracket is seeded. 

DuBois will first play the #2 seed, Johnson and Wales out of Charlotte, NC.  Johnson and Wales had a tough schedule, and come into the National Tournament with an overall record of 15-14.  Their USCAA leaders in statistics include Moana Reid (#8) who averages 8.21 assists per set, and Kendall Watson (#6) who has compiled 652 digs this season.

DuBois will play Johnson and Wales on Thursday, November 8th at 11:30 am.

Penn State DuBois next opponent in pool play will be Christendom College from Front Royal, Virginia.  Christendom has had a strong season, and comes in to the National Tournament with a 17-9 record.  Junior, Michaela Pennefather leads this team in blocks with 65, as well as kills with 263 on the season.  Senior setter, Gemma McMahon has accrued 562 assists along with 258 digs this season for the Crusaders, as they come into the field as the #3 seed.
