The lady lions defeated WCCC and Penn Highlands earlier this week but fell to conference rival Fayette on Wednesday.
The lady lions swept WCCC and Penn Highlands 3-0 but faced a tough opponent in last years conference champions Fayette. PSUD started out strong winning the first set 25-21. The next set was very close as it was tied 22-22 but Fayette scored three straight points to pull off the win. Fayette played well in the third set and won 25-16 but PSUD fought back in the fourth set to tie the game 20-20 but ended up losing 25-22 and losing the match 3-1.
PSUD plays three conference matches this weekend and ends their regular season with an away game next Tuesday versus Beaver. Saturday will be Senior Day - being recognized will be Carly Shaffer, Tosha Hahn, Kylee Turek, Grace Earle. 12pm vs Brandywine, 2pm vs PSU York.
