PSUD defeats conference rival Beaver 3-1.
In an exciting match the Lady Lions defeated Beaver 3-1. The Lady Lions pulled out the first 2 sets 25-19 and 25-18. In the third set Beaver rallied back being down 23-21 to win the set 25-23. However, PSUD rallied back and won the fourth game convincingly by a score of 25-10. Coach Alberts said "I was pleased with the way we played on defense tonight and the fact that after losing the third set 25-23 we kept our composure and took the match with a win in the fourth set." Match Leaders were: Melody Young 13 kills 4 aces 36 digs, Keara Shrefler 6 kills 5 aces 19 digs, Grace Earle 8 kills 14 digs, and Gabby Wolff 6 aces 23 digs.
PSUD next match is away on Friday at Pitt Titusville at 6pm. Then Home against PSU Greater Allegheny at 2pm.
