PSUD volleyball wins 3 of last 4 contest

The Penn State DuBois volleyball team is having its best season in many years; lead by coaches Dave Alberts and Liz Snell. The team currently stands in 6th place in the PSUAC with a 5-7 conference record and 6-9 overall on the season.

PSUD volleyball has won 3 of its past 4 games and has 3 conference games remaining with a shot to hold onto the 6th and final spot to qualify for the PSUAC tournament. On Saturday Oct. 8th they defeated PSU Worthington Scranton 3-1 (25-13, 23-25, 25-17,25-20) and also defeated PSU Wilkes Barre 3-0 ( 28-26, 25-13, 25-17). On Sunday they ran into the conference's best team PSU Fayette and were defeated 0-3 (25-9, 25-9, 25-12) Fayette is 11-0 in the PSUAC and 17-4 overall.

Wednesday evening the team traveled to PSU New Kensington and won 3-0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-13). The volleyball team has made great strides from the start of the season. The coaches and players are working very hard and have a great attitude.

The last home game of the season is October 19th vs Pitt-Titusville at 7pm in the Gymnasium in the Multipurpose Building. Come watch the ladies play their last home game and give them support as the strive to make the PSUAC playoffs.
