Dave Alberts to take over Volleyball program at PSU DuBois

Dave Alberts is a DuBois resident with a wealth of volleyball knowledge and experience working with a college program at California University of Pennsylvania.  Coach Alberts is a branch manager with PNC Bank locally in DuBois.  Coach Alberts will start to recruit prospective student-athletes to campus and build relationships with the current students at PSUD who may want to play on the team in the fall.

Dave earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Ramapo College, where he played 4 years collegiately for Ramapo.  Dave is also active locally with club volleyball as a player and coach.  He is also involved in the community with youth sports coaching t-ball and youth soccer.

Ken Nellis, campus Director of Athletics is extremely pleased with the selection of Dave Alberts as volleyball coach. "Dave is very passionate about the game and he is excited about recruiting students to campus and building a team to compete for conference championships".

Dave is married to Anna Akintunde, they have two children and live in the Treasure Lake area.  Anna is the Career Services Student Program director on campus.
