Volleyball drops final 4 of 5 games

The PSU DuBois volleyball team had a busy final week of play as they won at home against PSU Schuylkill and lost the final four games of the season on the road.  The week became busy as two earlier games which were postponed were rescheduled into the final week of play.

The win against PSU Schuylkill was a 3-0 victory with Taylor Thornhill, Elainna Hilliard, and Karly Carnovale leading the way for DuBois.  The road struggles started at PSUAC 1st place team Fayette where the DuBois Lady Lions fell 0-3 to the Roaring Lions of Fayette.  The next evening the team dropped a close contest to PSU Greater Allegheny 1-3.   The final games of the season were played as a tri-meet at Beaver, where the team lost 0-3 to PSU Beaver and 0-3 to Greater Allegheny.

The team finished with a record of 4 -14 and 4 -12 in the PSUAC.  Much of the latter part of the season was played with a fluxuating roster of 9 players, getting the same players on the court was a struggle and it showed in the consistency of play.
